Goodmove joins the “Chewathai x Thai Red Cross” mission to support flood victims in nine southern provinces.

When natural disasters struck and severe flooding overwhelmed many areas in the South, what followed—beyond the physical damage—was an urgent need for help that had to reach people as quickly as possible.

In response, many private-sector organisations stepped forward to join forces. Among them was the collaboration between Chewathai, the Thai Red Cross Society, and Goodmove, combining each party’s expertise to deliver essential supplies to those affected by the floods across nine southern provinces.

From the front of Chewathai’s condominium to the donation point – every step is a journey of “moving care and compassion.”

The initiative began with Chewathai opening up space within its project as a central donation point. The Chewathai team worked together to promote the campaign, inviting residents and the wider community to donate drinking water, non-perishable food, instant noodles, snacks, essential daily items, and other supplies that could help ease the immediate hardship faced by those affected.

The atmosphere on the collection day was filled with genuine dedication. Staff from Chewathai and the Goodmove team worked side by side, stacking packs of drinking water and boxes of dry food into tall, orderly rows in front of the residential building. Images captured Goodmove staff in their white uniforms passing packs of water from the front of the condominium into the company’s refrigerated truck, while Chewathai staff in “CHEWATHAI” T-shirts efficiently prepared and organised the donated items—clearly reflecting the seamless teamwork between the two organisations.

Goodmove harnessing its expertise in “moving” for the greater good of society

In this mission, Goodmove deployed its moving trucks and professional crew to support every stage of the operation—from collecting items at the Chewathai project and loading them securely to prevent damage in transit, through to unloading them at the designated donation hub, which serves as a central point for consolidating and distributing supplies to the flood-affected areas.

The sign reading “Donation Point for Essential Supplies to Help Flood Victims and Animals in Southern Thailand” stands as a powerful symbol of how logistics capabilities can be leveraged to strengthen humanitarian efforts in a very real and tangible way.

While Goodmove has long been known primarily for its role in moving homes and condominiums, this initiative marks an important step into another meaningful role as a “mover of relief and aid”, ensuring help reaches those in need as quickly and safely as possible.

A united team effort – more than just lifting boxes onto a truck

Scenes from the event show lines of people passing packs of drinking water from hand to hand, stacking them neatly at different corners of the donation tent, alongside sacks of rice, dry food, cartons of milk, and other essential items carefully arranged and ready to be dispatched to affected areas.

Every step in the process, though it may appear to be simple “lifting and carrying,” was filled with smiles, goodwill, and genuine intention. These small acts of kindness from each individual came together to create a powerful collective force of support for those facing hardship.

From a social responsibility initiative to a dedicated moving-service partnership for Chewathai residents

Beyond this social initiative, Goodmove has also strengthened its collaboration with Chewathai by becoming an official moving-service partner. The aim is to provide greater convenience for residents across Chewathai’s various projects, particularly those who are about to move into a new development or are planning to relocate to a new home.
